Café D’Arab

£10.00

Musica Alta's debut release merges African and East-Asian influences, via Italy, thanks to Gianni Denitto's wonderful “Cafe D'Arab”, a journey through the backstreets and hidden doors of Morocco. Denitto, who also runs the imprint, follows up with the comparatively more introspective “Tillsammans Ballad”, a sparse landscape of ambient sonics stretching across a vast plane. Japan Blues takes a trip over to the Medina for the remix of “Cafe D'Arab”, strapping together a smoking joint for the dance, made of rattling percussion, echoing vocals, and touch of flowering, Japanese organics.
